Remote Play, Inc. Selected as Top Emerging Company in America

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ - October 25th 2004 - Remote Play, Inc. was picked as the national winner in the 2004 competition "Pitching Across America".

The contest, the largest of its kind, was designed to highlight the hottest emerging companies for investors to hear pitches from. Thousands of companies entered the contest in most of the 50 states. The judges - 120 in total - included Angel Investors, venture capital firms (such as Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Apax Partners and Battery Ventures), and Corporate Venture Funds such as Eastman Kodak and Nokia Venture Partners. Remote Play, Inc. came in first place as the ‘Top emerging Company in America’ and a company to watch out for. In addition to winning the top award, Remote Play won exclusive access to pitch to investors nationally as well as inclusion in a featured venture capital mailing.

The contest was presented by FundingPost.com, a company designed to bring together leading entrepreneurs and investors via networking events, an online venture exchange and a hard-copy venture guide that is distributed to over 400 leading venture capital firms in the United States.
