Reducing False Alarms
WEARING MONITOR FOR BEST RESULTS AND ATTACHING TAG FOR BEST RESULTS

Your TagAlert™ uses advanced Radio Frequency 'RF' technology that offers tremendous advantages of not requiring the MONITOR and TAG to have direct line of site to work.

However, system performance may be affected on the manner in which the MONITOR and TAG are worn on the body or attached to an item. Under certain, conditions, the ALERT range may become shorter resulting in false alarms.

To Reduce False Alarms:
  1. Put setting on LONG
  2. Using a strap to attach the TAG to an item is preferred over direct adhesion to some surfaces (like a cell phone or an iPOD).
STEP 1:Thread strap through your phone and TAG.
STEP 2:Push metal knob through loop to close strap.
  1. Adjust location of MONITOR or TAG to be closer to each other. The body can greatly shorten the alert range so try to position the MONITOR and TAG on the same side of the body. See examples in diagrams above.
  2. If false alarms persist, press SNOOZE to silence alarm for 10 minutes, or turn MONITOR off for 10 seconds and then turn back on.
  • Slide switch is positioned to LONG setting, which is the preferred setting to prevent false alarms.
